BUSSELTON CELEBRANT - Anita Gill

Being a professionally trained and authorised Celebrant who abides by the Code of Practice for Marriage Celebrants, required by the Attorney-General's Department, it is my belief that your needs are of the utmost importance and I am totally committed to meeting those needs.

It is always both a privilege and an honour to be included in the happy memories of so many people - you are promised that your ceremony will have my total focus as I only ever commit to one booking per day.

My services - I like to think of my couples as my friends and therefore we have unlimited contact from the very start, whether it be via email, telephone or personal face to face meetings.  Becoming familiar with them and what they require for their special day is an important place for me to start.  The actual legal part of the ceremony, which is basically set in concrete and must be said, would take about 3 minutes!!  Obviously it would be a very cold, unfeeling type of ceremony if it were left at that.  We are so lucky that you (or I, whoever the case may be) can add personal touches – a part of your story if you like, your feelings about each other, your hopes, dreams and aspirations for your future and pieces of prose, readings or poetry of your choosing.  Normally I create a ceremony for my couples  to give them the general idea and then they can add/change or delete anything they wish (apart from the legal bits obviously!)  I send several samples of vows included in the ceremony, which can be either mixed up or used in any way you would like to or you may compose your own from scratch if that is what you wish to do.  The choice is yours.  You are encouraged to have as much input as you wish, but I will give you as much guidance and assistance as you require.

Your ceremony should be unique - one which meets your own personal needs and is a reflection of the love you have for each other.   It is your special day and your promises to each other can be as distinctive as you would like them to be (apart from the legal lines required by the Attorney General's Department). It would be my pleasure to help you make one of the most important days in your life, memorable, stress free and fun.

You may choose to have live music or use a portable CD player.  Alternatively if you download your music on to an Ipod or MP3 player, you may use my Ipod Docking Station, or I also have a cable which connects to my speaker which you are welcome to use - my top quality portable PA system ensures all guests hear the ceremony clearly and you can be assured that it will be presented in a warm and caring, but professional manner.  (Please take a look at the Testimonials page to see what other couples have to say).

My signing table and cloth are available for your use if you should require it – there are both cream and white cloths to choose from – one of the overlays  is trimmed with gold and the other is trimmed with silver – just small things, but as I say, little things mean a lot!  As I stated earlier on, I will only ever present one ceremony on any one day and therefore will not be rushing off or arriving late due to another ceremony running overtime.  Your wedding has my total focus from the minute I wake up on the morning of your special day, until after the ceremony when those documents are in the post headed for BDM for registration

- your day is as important to me as it is to you!!!

Naturally all legal documentation is completed and sent to Births, Deaths and Marriages after the ceremony by me.   If required, as a service to you, I send off the Application for a Registered Marriage Certificate at the same time – you then receive your certificate in the post about a fortnight later without having to bother about anything.

You can rest assured that you will be guided seamlessley right from the beginning, when you initially decide you would like me to be your celebrant, through to the completion of your ceremony and I will do everything in my power to ensure that your wedding ceremony will be a very special beginning to a very special day for you both.

I look forward to meeting with you to help you create your own special ceremony,
for a Wedding, Commitment Ceremony, Renewal of Vows or a Naming Ceremony.
