BUSSELTON CELEBRANT - Anita Gill

To assist in ensuring the preparations for your ceremony are stressfree and everything runs smoothly on your day, my services include, but are
not limited to, the following:

  • Friendly, obligation free advice in a calm and relaxed atmosphere
  • Unlimited communication with me
  • Your choice of ceremony (with as much assistance as you would like)
  • Special letters, STD calls etc. if necessary
  • Preparation and professional presentation of ceremony
  • Preparation and timely lodgement of all legal documentation
  • Rehearsal at venue (dependent upon time and travel involved)
  • Cordless PA system (optional MP3 connection for ceremony music)
  • Laser printed presentation certificate
  • Signing table and cloth if required
  • Presentation copy of ceremony and vows

Once you have chosen your celebrant, the Notice of Intent to Marry must be signed, witnessed and lodged with the celebrant at least one month and a day, but not more than 18 months, prior to the ceremony.  This should be accompanied with original birth certificates if born in Australia - otherwise a valid passport is acceptable, and if applicable, proof of how the previous marriage ended (ie divorce or death certificate) along with a deposit which confirms the booking. (The Notice of Intent to Marry form may be downloaded from BDM website, link below, or your celebrant can supply a copy)

We can then proceed with the exciting part, creating your ceremony!

A few days prior to the 'Big Day', usually at the rehearsal, the Statutory Declaration (a legally binding document stating that there are no reasons why the two of you should not be married eg. you are both over 18, you are not married to anyone else or you are not in a prohibited relationship) must be signed by both of you and witnessed by your celebrant.

There is nothing else for you to do but continue to enjoy this special time - most importantly, have fun and enjoy every minute!!

All legalities are attended to for you by me - when your papers are lodged, your application for your registered marriage certificate from Births, Deaths and Marriages can be included if you wish.  This application form can be downloaded from the BDM website (link below) or alternatively, I can  supply a  copy for you.
